for meet-ups, event organising
and third party ticket swaps/requests/purchases

for a while now the people on the sinister mailing list have been meeting up at gigs, having picnics together and even running clubs for each other. up till now we've created a temporary page for each event, which to be honest was getting to be too much hassle and quite a bit of maintenance work. so i thought about it for a while and decided that the site needed something that could be updated directly by the organisers of the meet ups, which you could access easily, stayed in the same place and required no effort from me beyond setting it up. so now we have the message board. it is not to be used as a general chat area, just as a place where meet-ups and picnics an be organised.

if you are starting a new thread, you must include in the subject the date and location of the proposed meet-up. all threads without dates or with expired dates in the subject will be deleted when we clean the message board. this cannot be stated enough, no date, no messages.
